What might the ref number be for this one - and what's it worth?

Hi,

I'm helping a friend value this watch - as he cannot open it we dont have the ref number - it's a bit like the one for sale by Butch on this site, but the pushers are different (older, I'm guessing). 

I've browsed the catalogue site but not in depth yet - does anyone instantly recognize the exact model? And any idea of the value? Thanks in advance for your input!

That is the same as mine, ~71ish, but had the waterproof pushers. Mine is priced reasonable considering it is fully serviced ($400-500). His appears to have the old band with it though.

So the round pushers are waterproof? Thats a really useful piece of information - I always thought that the square pushers as a design element were "older"  and I guess to some extend that could be true as older watches were less if not at all waterproof?

I've passed your info on to the guy - lets see if it pops up on eBay one of these days.......
