Looking for a bezel for a Zodiac GMT from the 60's or 70's

Can you tell from the serial # if it originally came with metal or acrylic ?

if you look at the case where the bezel would be...does it have a groove where the retaining spring would go?...if it does thats for an acrylic...if not metal

It takes a metal bezel, do you have one by chance
