SOLD: Zodiac Stainless Steel Blue dial day/date from 1974 $50...

Here's one that just screams 70's. Came in a trade at a watch show a couple of years ago. Service history unknown, so I would recommend a service if you want to wear it daily.It's priced it as a  parts watch, since a lot of the movement parts will fit other Zodiac movements.

36 mm w/o crown
38 mm lug to lug
18.7 mm lugs
period correct 18 mm nylon 1 piece strap(used)
personal engraving on back dated 1974
model #1949 shown on page 6 of the 1975 ZODIAC catalog
list price was $115 in 1975
No dings or dents. Just a few scratches on case and crystal.
Crystal could use a polywatch polish.

Watch is hard to wind with crown, but winds fine when worn. Worn and tested for 2 days and kept good time. Day has changed like it should both days. Date only changed half way on the first day. after resetting , both changed like they should on the second day.
