I recently picked up a SSW-SST, the "coffin case" as I have seen it called, and am looking for a user-manual or instructions.
Fiddling around it seems the right crown only turns the interior bezel, while the left crown sets the hour hands, you push it in to advance the number for the date, and it also winds the watch.
Either mine is broken or I can't figure out how to advance the day indicator. I bet if I rolled the hour hands ahead that might do it?
Finally, i'd appreciate advice about restoring the hands and face, which are nice but need a little tlc....
Thanks guys..... :helpme
Butch's watch guy. Send him all your watches, he's the best with Zodiacs and the fairest price.
He also has Zodiac parts, not everything but he's got a lot.
BWG has restored and serviced all my Zodiacs. I could not be happier.
The date should roll after the 2nd 12 and then try rolling the time in reverse to 6 then to 12 to advance it again.
It works on many older Zodiacs.
